Our second Town hall meeting which was held on Saturday 24-10-26 brought the diaspora together for conversations about something that matters to us all: staying connected, supporting one another, and building a stronger Tanzanian community in Denmark.
One of the key takeaways
- We need more unity and stronger connections across generations.
- The younger generation is stepping up!
A group of young people of Tanzanian origin shared their vision of bringing young Tanzanians in Denmark closer together, with support and guidance from the Consulate. An important step towards creating connections, building relationships, and keeping our Tanzanian identity alive among the next generation. The meeting also provided updates on the Consulate’s newly launched consular services and Swahili classes for adults, offering more ways for Tanzanians to access services and stay connected to our language and culture.
The message is simple ,being part of a diaspora is about more than sharing our origins. It is about creating meaningful connections, exchanging ideas, and showing up for one another. Different generations, shared roots, one community. What would you like to see more of in the Tanzanian community in Denmark?
