Welcome to the Consulate of the United Republic of Tanzania in Denmark
The Tanzania Consulate in Denmark represents the United Republic of Tanzania, working to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and cultural bonds with Denmark. Operating under the guidance of the Tanzanian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, the Consulate is committed to advancing Tanzania’s economic interests and facilitating partnerships. Through engagement with investors, businesses, and government entities, the Consulate encourages trade, tourism, and educational exchange opportunities.
The Consulate supports Tanzanian nationals in Denmark by providing initial assistance for passport services, emergency documents, and general citizen matters. While official passport and visa services are managed by the Embassy in Stockholm, the Consulate in Denmark offers advisory support as needed.
The Consulate of the United Republic of Tanzania will be closed on the following dates:
- Tuesday 9th December 2025: 64th Independence Day
- Holiday period from: Monday 22nd December 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2025 inclusive.
In the event of an (non-visa) related emergency, please call and leave a message on the voice mail, or alternatively send a text on 28 45 91 09 and a brief description of the nature of the emergency.
