Shares/Investment Schemes For Diaspora
Umoja Trust Fund – Asset Management and Investor Services (UTT-AMIS) is one of three organizations of the Unit Trust of Tanzania (UTT).
UTT- AMIS which started in 2015 operates 5 collective Investment Scheme i.e
1. Umoja Fund
2. Wekeza Maisha
3. Watoto Fund
4. Jikimu Fund and
5. Liquid Fund
UTT AMIS is inviting Tanzania’s in the Diaspora to invest at home through the funds that they manage and obtain attractive returns. In order to make investments in any of the Schemes, a Diaspora needs to open an account with the fund of choice and obtain Bank details. Once the account is open then an investor can wire of transfer funds to the chosen investment scheme.

Taarifa kuhusu masuala ya kodi na ushuru wa vifaa wakati unarudi nyumbani au Diaspora wanapopeleka misaada katika mashirika yasiyokuwa ya Kiserikali. TEMBELEA TOVUTI YA TRA.
Bima Ya Afya Na Mazishi
Mwaka 2013, NSSF Tanzania walianzisha Hifadhi ya Jamii kwa Diaspora – WESTADI. Faida za kuwa mwanachama wa Hifadhi hii ni kama ifuatavyo;
Utaweza kuwapa BIMA ya AFYA ndugu wanne (4) wanaokutegemea Tanzania. BIMA hii ni pamoja na Diaspora mwanachama Kama ataugua na kuhitaji kutibiwa akija Tanzania. Pia ikiwa Diaspora atafariki na kuchagua kuzikwa Tanzania, Hifadhi hii itatoa gharama ya kusafirisha mwili kwenda Tanzania.

Diaspora ya Watanzania mnashauriwa kuomba vitambulisho vya taifa (Kwa wale amabo hawajabadili uraia). Kitambulisho kinawasaidia katika huduma nyingi nje na ndani ya nchi. Tafadhali tembelea tovuti ya NIDA kwa taarifa zaidi na kupakua fomu za maombi.

Tanzanians living abroad have made significant contributions to their adopted countries across a wide range of fields, including public life, business, economics, industry, music, film, medicine, science, technology, academia, and the arts. Your efforts have earned you recognition and respect, with many of you among the most influential and wealthy families in your respective countries.
Even though many of you have adopted new nationalities and citizenships, your ties to Tanzania remain strong. The country’s ongoing democratic progress continues to be a source of pride, as does its global recognition as a responsible and democratic partner in the world community.
Thanks to advancements in communication—through the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms—people in Tanzania and Tanzanians abroad can now stay closely connected, following the country’s economic growth and development. Many of you have also returned to contribute your expertise to Tanzania’s progress.
As new generations of Tanzanians abroad come of age and Tanzania’s own young population becomes more globally aware, it’s vital to strengthen and build upon the connections between Tanzania and its Diaspora. With this goal in mind, we are launching the Tanzania Diaspora Registration to:
a) Create the first-ever comprehensive database of the Tanzanian Diaspora and its associations.
b) Facilitate regular information sharing and updates.
This initiative aims to build a unique and expansive Tanzania Diaspora community, one that not only informs and educates, but also fosters dynamic interaction between the Diaspora and Tanzania, as well as among members themselves.
The database, accessible to verified registrants, will enable networking for professional, business, and social purposes. Personal details will only be included with the individual’s or association’s consent. Registered members will receive special updates, including newsletters on developments in Tanzania—political, economic, social, and cultural—that directly impact the Diaspora.
We invite you to support this initiative by registering on our website. In time, you will be able to upload news, photos, and videos of your association’s activities, creating your own space in the dedicated micro-sites we will provide. We look forward to hearing from you and are happy to address any questions you may have about this initiative.
